Many Southerners believe Jim DeMint pulled off an incredible, if unnecessary, voter suppression trick in 2010, by ensuring he had no credible opponent at all. It may be that he thought he should start saving money for the Big Race, the 2012 primaries. In that case DeMint should continue striking down his competition with devastating screwball moves. For instance, he should run his 2012 Presidential bid pre-loaded with a VP candidate to enthrall America. And, who would make a better VP candidate than his erstwhile 2010 opponent the pseudo-Reverend Al Green, in reality Alvin Greene?
Let's face it, for all Alvin's many quirks, including the mystery surrounding his appearance on the Democratic ballot in the first place, Pseudo-Al comes with far less baggage than any possible pretender the Tea Baggies might find acceptable.
Plus, he BLINGS! La Palin, Bachmannn and Orly Taitz together do not shine on with the special Pink Floydian sparkle that Greene demonstrates almost every day. And, obviously, Greene would bring more than one kind of color to a party sorely lacking in the sane, er, the same.
btw, to celebrate his Senatorial campaign, Alvin unveiled a comic book called "Ultimate Warrior" today, starring himself.
